I’m a Virtualization / Infrastructure Consultant with over 6 years’ IT experience in both the public and private sectors. I have gained my experience working with MSPs in the UK, ultimately enabling them to provide solutions. I consistently strive to improve my knowledge to stay relevant with the ever-changing IT industry by investing time in studying and creating articles for my independent blog.

  • Provided technical input on Designs for Veeam Cloud Connect, this included meeting with Veeam to discuss how this platform would be implemented to ensure Softcat used industry best practices to increase the performance of the solution and ultimately improve the RTO for customers.
  • Implemented vSphere Automation using VMware Kickstart scripts to build and configure HP Blades for the Softcat Managed Services Platform.
Jacob’s drive for VMware and virtualisation was very impressive. And on top of that, his windows knowledge was of great benefit to us. To find out the amount of time he spends on testing and building solutions on his home lab was and still is refreshing.
